“ At a glance this place gives off an everyday burger mom n pop, but it's actually korean fusion. Have had their kalbi burger $11.49 previously, and it was sweet, savory.. a perfection combination of flavors. The meat is thinly sliced - hard to tell if it was actually kalbi (short ribs). I also really liked their chili cheese fries. This time friends and I got the crispy chicken burger $10.99 to go. The chicken wasn't oily at all, and kept the crunch even after sitting in the container for a bit. The only downside was that I had gotten extra spicy and it was NOT spicy at all lol. I would hope they would use gochujang or some sort or korean based spice, but I think they just used sriracha and maybe a jalapeno or two. French fries were $4.99 and weren't memorable. Liked how they used sturdy compostable containers (not styrofoam). Would come back tho to try their bbq plates. Plenty of parking in the lot. ”
“ Such a good range of options. This is one of those places that everytime I eat here, I think to myself "I need to come here more often!" Always have good kpop playing, and the vibe is just very welcoming. ”
“ Cleanliness: Freshness: Taste: Our order: Kalbi Burger, Spicy Jalapeño burger with beyond meat substitute, Fries, Wings, Stubborn vanilla, agave soda, onion rings, and a fountain drink. Reflection: I was extremely impressed by how clean the restaurant was and the freshness of the food. Everything was made to order so there was a little wait, but we did not mind. The beyond meat patty lacked seasoning, however, the rest of the ingredients made up for it. The wings lacked seasoning as well and were a little over fried. My husband gave the Kalbi Burger 5 out of 5 and we absolutely loved the Stubborn soda!!! ”
“ First time visiting this place. My wife found it while we were traveling and it was such a good suggestion! The food was great! All the food tasted fresh ! My favorite was the kalbi burger! The onion rings were probably the best onion rings I've had in a while. There was a perfect balance of bread and onion! It wasn't too busy inside so we sat ourselves while the football game was on. The service was great and the ambiance was welcoming! Everyone was friendly! Will be coming back to try the ShortRib ”
“ There aren't that many places that will sell you real kalbi. If you want real kalbi you have to go into a "sit down" Korean restaurant and that is a pain when you just want kalbi now. This place reminds me of the types of places you get in Hawaii. And as a Hawaiian, this brings me joy to find this place in Woodland Hills. The Kalbi is the real deal, it has the bone, it's got the right marinade and it's cooked with char. I will be back for sure. The BBQ chicken is also really good, with a ton of flavor in it. I wish they made a mixed plate of chicken and Kalbi. Eating all kalbi can be a lot, and if I order the chicken only...well I don't get Kalbi. Do you guys offer a mixed plate? Could I do this??? Anyways, the service was friendly and quicky. The restaurant was clean, and I like how it's right on the side of Ventura. When I saw it on Google Maps I was relieved to see that I didn't need to pull into that dreadful parking lot. My pictures are showing the food after I took it home and put it onto a plate. I don't like eating out of a styrofoam container and I mixed the two meats together. Oh, and the vinegar/oil salad dressing is very good too! ”
“ Great food, but the service is what will bring us back. We ordered chicken and fish tacos, a KBBQ pizza, the kalbi burger, a western burger, and a chicken sandwich. Everything was great - the kalbi burger was a favorite, but the pizza was different and good too. We also ordered fries which came out piping hot. The owners (?) were there and everyone was so friendly. The place was incredibly clean and attractive inside. The owner saw my daughter having a bit of a fit and crying and she came out to check on her and offered her a little treat. They were so sweet and concerned. Great spot and glad we found it on Yelp. ”
“ Great food, great service! Truly enjoyed my burger and the friendly folks that work there. Will definitely be back! ”
“ Wow! What a find. A hidden gem in the valley. My first time, I tried a standard, BBQ beef. (Take out, but I saw their plated meals and very nicely done!) Very tasty. I can't wait to return. ”
“ I went yesterday around 11:20am. The place was empty and clean. The young lady was helpful and quick. I ordered the Beef Korean BBQ with white rice only, no salad. I did receive a nice decent serving which was greatly appreciated. The problem was that it was dry and semi cold. I ate there. Several minutes past and noticed several other people coming in. They all seemed to order the Kalbi Burger on Hawaiian Roll bread. I must try that next time. As for the Beef Korean dish, I was a bit disappointed . I wish it would of come with a side of sauce and hot like the rice. The manager I would say, she didn't look up. She was sitting on a corner table reading and highlighting in a bible. The reason is that she called a guy that works there by name and told him that the machine needed ice. The patio area outside was nice, clean, and semi open but being on Ventura Bl, heavy on traffic noise. ”
